A Peek Inside NYC’s First Indoor/Outdoor Nail Salon

Oct 26th, 2022

Get to know Lili and Cata, New York City's first indoor/outdoor nail salon.

Lili and Cata, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is NYC’s first indoor/outdoor nail salon. The Latinx-owned nail “saloon” offers non-toxic manicures and waterless pedicures alongside frosé, wine, local IPAs, cappuccinos and more.

Lili and Cata serves coffee and wine to offer clients the ultimate opportunity for relaxation.Lili and Cata serves coffee and wine to offer clients the ultimate opportunity for relaxation.Co-founders Lilly and Jorge Rojas opened Lili and Cata in 2019 after an unsuccessful search for a salon that paired mani-pedis with a glass of fine wine. The salon’s primary mission is to make guests feel like they are in an oasis apart from the daily grind. Lili and Cata emphasizes healthy and hygienic products and practices.

"Our long-lasting nail lacquers are cruelty-free, non-toxic and vegan, making them the safest options available. Made with quality ingredients, all of our polishes are at least 7-free (5-free for gels), meaning that they’re free of nasty chemicals," the salon's website reads.

Lily and Cata offers waterless services to put the environment, and clients' nails and health, first. You can plan your visit to Lili and Cata by visiting their website.
