Aware of the amount of stress that the current population experiences, LPG America has developed a Vitality, Stress, Sleep (VSS) treatment using the Cellu M6 Alliance System to target the lymphatic system and improve the effect it has on mental health. After a single session, levels of the stress hormone, cortisol, were reduced by 19%, according to a Dec. 4 press release.
The clinical trials for the VSS were conducted by the French beScored Institute in conjunction with the European Sleep Center, the University of Sydney, and the Cerballiance laboratory, according to the release.
The Cellu M6 Alliance System is meant to reactivate cells through mechanical massage for aesthetic applications, as well as lymphatic drainage and edema. Targeting the lymphatic system with this application, the clinical study found that by the end of the five weeks, participants' levels of perceived stress had almost halved, according to the release.
Levels of anxiety and depression were reduced by 50.9%, and insomnia-related sleep disorders were reduced by 54.7% by the end of the study, according to the release.
“This is the first trial to conclusively prove that a series of mechanical massage treatments designed to target the lymphatic system can have such significant effects on so many aspects of mental health,” says Christophe Hausswirth, the trial's independent clinical research director.
