Galderma’s next-generation Restylane syringe has been approved in the EU, U.S., and Canada, the company announced in a press release on Feb 25, 2026.

Developed in close collaboration with more than 70 aesthetic practitioners, the syringe boosts new user-friendly functionality that supports precision and control  in multiple facial indications including the cheeks, nose, chin, jawline, tear troughs, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, as well as in the hands.

The new syringe is also engineered to complement the range of firmer Galderma hyaluronic acid fillers.

The announcement follows the news of Galderma expanding its Restylane Defyne and Restylane Refyne portfolio– the first OBT-based hyaluronic acid injectables – in Japan earlier this month.

These approvals mark a significant evolution in injection device design.

“Developing this new syringe in close collaboration with practitioners to address their specific needs has really set it apart. Repetitive hand movements like performing numerous injections every day can lead to strain and reduced mobility, but the syringe’s ergonomic design, with a cushioned finger grip and thumb rest ensure maximum comfort when injecting, supporting consistent, high‑quality results for patients,” said Dr. Luddi Luiz Oliveria, a Brazilian plastic surgeon.
