Beverly Hills MD, a topical and supplement skincare company crafted by plastic surgeons, was awarded Skin Anarchy's 2025 Top Pick Award in the Wellness/Supplements category for its Dermal Repair Complex.
The formula, containing vitamins, collagen and other ingredients, is designed to address the root causes of dermal breakdown, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and enhancing skin health. Saw palmetto, the first ingredient, is a small palm tree found in the U.S., with antiandrogen properties and fatty acids; it’s also shown to decrease DHT, a skin-aging hormone, and by decreasing the hormone, saw palmetto lowers the production of sebum and excessive oils that lead to acne [1].
Per a Dec. 17 company press release, the saw palmetto helps protect collagen and maintain firm skin while also strengthening hair. Hydrolyzed collagen is also in the supplement. Easily absorbed collagen peptides in the skincare stimulate the body's collagen production, while methylsulfonylmethane also encouragres production, along with keratin.
Lastly, hyaluronic acid, a natural hydrator, binds water molecules in the skin, and the supplement’s vitamins A & B complex promotes skin cell turnover for an even tone and hydrated complexion.
The company suggests taking two capsules daily with a meal and a full glass of water.
