DC Advisory advises Epicutis on its growth investment from GroundForce Capital

Epicutis

In July 2026, founder-led investment firm GroundForce Capital completed a growth investment in biotech-driven skincare brand Epicutis, including a seat on its board of directors.

Epicutis received financial guidance from international investment bank and corporate finance advisor DC Advisory, which oversaw the deal and was tasked with identifying a financial sponsor to support Epicutis’ next phase of growth.

The investment mirrors similar transactions across the aesthetics and wellness industries, highlighting how professional, medical-grade skincare is increasingly becoming an investable category.

Obagi was acquired by Bridgepoint in 2026; LaserAway, backed by Ares Management and Seidler Equity Partners, has expanded to 219 locations; and Advanced MedAesthetic Partners, backed by Leon Capital Group, continues to build its multi-state platform.

The trend suggests capital will continue to flow into science-backed, professional-channel skincare as investors recognize the convergence of medical aesthetics and skincare as a larger, increasingly valuable market.

“Luc-Henry Rousselle and the DC Advisory team were exceptional partners throughout our financing process. They combined strategic insight with unwavering integrity, but what truly set them apart was that they cared about our business as much as we did. In an industry where transactions often feel purely transactional, Luc and his team were a breath of fresh air. They helped us find the right partner, not just any partner, and played a meaningful role in positioning Epicutis for its next chapter of growth,” Max Stock, Co-Founder, CEO & President of Epicutis, said in a press release.

“Founded on a science-first approach to skincare, Epicutis is best known for its clean, minimalist formulations focused on skin health and powered by its proprietary, patent-protected actives. The Company has built deep credibility among medical spas, dermatologists and other practitioners by combining rigorous clinical performance with luxurious products designed for daily use. It was a pleasure to support Max and the wonderful Epicutis team in finding the right partner to support their next phase of growth,” Luc-Henry Rousselle, Managing Director, DC Advisory, added.

As skincare and aesthetics continue to converge, Epicutis may be one of the latest examples of where the industry’s money is headed next.
