Building on the global success of Clarins’ Double Serum, the new foundation introduces a next-generation format that keeps two formulas separate until the moment of application. The patented dual-chamber system delivers a precise 70:30 ratio of color cosmetic to hydric serum, ensuring optimal efficacy while preserving the integrity of each phase. An adjustable dial allows users to customize dosage—from a light drop to fuller coverage—across 37 shades, reflecting growing demand for personalization and performance.
The launch taps directly into surging consumer interest in multifunctional beauty. As skin care benefits become a baseline expectation in makeup, hybrid formulations are emerging as a key premiumization driver. From hydration and SPF to anti-aging claims, today’s consumers increasingly expect their foundation to do more than conceal—positioning products like Double Serum Foundation at the forefront of category evolution.
Packaging plays a central role in delivering that promise. Developed through Aptar Beauty’s Custom Hub, the solution combines advanced engineering with luxury design, featuring a high-shine metallized finish, lockable actuator and travel-friendly overcap. Sustainability is also part of the equation, with the pack incorporating at least 38% recycled materials and a bottle designed for high recyclability.
Manufactured through Aptar Beauty’s interconnected European production network, the project underscores the company’s ability to execute complex, multi-site collaborations. Facilities across France and Italy worked in tandem to deliver the final product, highlighting the scale and precision required to bring such hybrid innovations to market.
