Youth Bar Medical Aesthetics, a provider-led medical aesthetics clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, announced its new clinic in Halifax’s Hydrostone neighbourhood on June 2, 2026.
Owned and led by Michelle Shiferaw and Stephanie Smith-Bilodeau, the clinic has grown to a team of five injectors and a medical aesthetician, offering a range of services including injectable treatments, neurotoxins, dermal filler, microneedling, PRP, hair restoration, wellness shots, chemical peels, and medical-grade skincare.
What began just over a year ago as a single rented treatment room inside KinFix Health and Fitness in Spryfield has quickly grown into a full medical aesthetics clinic with five new treatment rooms. The new clinic is located at 3208 Isleville Street in the Hydrostone area.
“From the beginning, our growth has been driven by word-of-mouth and referrals,” says Shiferaw. “Our clients have been with us since day one, and seeing them cheer us on as we move into this next chapter has been really heart-warming. We feel so fortunate to have built something that people genuinely love and trust.”
“It’s honestly so refreshing to see so many women-founded businesses in this neighbourhood,” says Smith-Bilodeau. “We’ve reached out to our neighbours and have already received such a warm welcome. There’s a real sense of community here, and we’re excited to be part of it.”
As the medical aesthetics industry continues to grow, the Youth Bar team says its priority is to remain focused on education, safety, and results that feel aligned with each client’s natural features.
