Morpheus8 Cool Introduces New Approach to RF Microneedling Comfort

INMODE medical device with frozen texture, featuring touchscreen control panel and hexagonal branding

On Sept. 9, 2026, InMode announced the launch of Morpheus8 Cool, the next evolution of its renowned Morpheus8 technology.

The key distinction from the original Morpheus8 technology is the device's cooling handpiece, which features a new interactive user interface for enhanced control and safety.

Now available exclusively on the Morpheus8MAX platform, InMode says the new handpiece and large-surface cooling tip offer game-changing Cool Comfort Technology, intelligently managing the thermal profile to elevate the treatment experience for enhanced control and safety.

According to InMode, practitioners can select Guided Mode, with preset, clinically effective parameters that support consistent, repeatable outcomes, or Manual Mode for fully customizable settings.

This is especially important to medspa owners and aesthetic providers, as the new cooling tip gives another way to manage discomfort during RF microneedling treatments. This could potentially influence treatment acceptance, satisfaction and repeat bookings.

"Developed in response to feedback from our providers, Guided Mode within the Morpheus8MAX platform offers greater versatility across their practices," said Dr. Michael Kreindel, InMode Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. "Its intuitive design gives practitioners greater flexibility to tailor treatments to each patient's skin concerns and anatomy while delivering the remarkable results patients and providers have come to expect from Morpheus8."

"Morpheus8 Cool addresses an important challenge in aesthetics: how to make a proven, successful technology even better," said Dr. Eran Krieger, Chief Medical Officer at InMode. "By cooling the skin's surface while treating the targeted tissue, we preserve the remodeling effect without compromising treatment. We are not changing the treatment—we are elevating the patient experience."

"The excitement surrounding Morpheus8 Cool was undeniable when we introduced it at our Insider Summit in Las Vegas," said Michael Dennison, InMode President, North America. "Providers immediately recognized the value of greater comfort, precision, and control, and the enthusiastic response reinforced the strong demand for this next evolution of Morpheus8 technology."

For practices evaluating device upgrades, the news also raises practical questions about treatment efficiency, patient experience, staff training and return on investment.
