Following Crown Laboratories’ acquisition of Revance, the company has announced it will operate under the new name Revance to reflect not only its combined portfolios, but also its shift moving forward as a biotechnology company in aesthetics and therapeutics, joined with Crown's science-driven brands for skin health and rejuvenation as one entity.
“Our goal is to become one of the world’s leading aesthetics and skincare companies, and we believe that we can achieve this by bringing together our complementary market-leading products, uniting our incredibly talented teams, and continuing to expand our global presence,” Revance states.
The addition of Revance's Daxxify, along with other Revance products, makes the company’s portfolio comprehensive in the aesthetics and skincare market, as the two markets continue to intertwine and thrive in relation.
Med spas and practices are increasingly integrating skincare solutions, backed by science to facilitate recovery post-treatment as well as maintenance. A synergy exists between skincare and aesthetics, as skin care addresses health, while aesthetic procedures offer targeted solutions to specific concerns, creating a harmonious balance [1].
As one unified company now, Revance collectively combines the two portfolios to provide the industry with a range of aesthetic solutions, while offering an expansive array of skin health brands for healing and rejuvenation.
“This merger strengthens our leadership in the dynamic aesthetics and skincare markets, and it enhances our ability to deliver innovative solutions to customers,” the company states.
Looking into the future, Revance has plans to invest in education, training and practice support to maximize the potential of products within this portfolio like Daxxify.
"The transition to the Revance name marks an exciting new chapter for our company, representing the future of our combined portfolio of advanced, science-driven brands that are designed to address the ever-changing needs of patients, clinicians and consumers worldwide," said Jeff Bedard, CEO of Revance.
