What's more, to demonstrate the ingredient's effectiveness, the company explored a new perspective. "We wanted to be more creative with the studies," explains Jule Lexa Völzke, Ph.D., manager of product design and development at CLR Berlin, in this sponsored podcast. "To implement a new perspective, we performed a first impressions study – something from daily life that you really can't explain."
Per Völzke, 170 ninth graders were shown images from a clinical study of individuals before and after treatment with the active. Participants viewed the images for 3 sec and simply indicated which they liked most. Reportedly, 75% of participants rapidly and intuitively indicated they preferred the treated image.
