Patients who underwent nonablative skin resurfacing with Solta Medical’s Clear + Brilliant laser with the Perméa handpiece followed by topical application of Skinceutical’s C E Ferulic antioxidant serum perceived a more rapid reduction in post-treatment recovery time, including a reduction in redness and swelling.
The two companies—Solta Medical and SkinCeuticals—formed an exclusive partnership to support clinical research exploring the effects of combining their two treatment products. The findings were presented at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) Annual Conference in April 2012.
As part of the new partnership, the companies will be offering a co-promotion in which a C E Ferulic in-office professional system and homecare recovery system will be offered with each series of the new Clear + Brilliant Perméa treatments.
