Skin Pharm, a medical-grade skincare line with aesthetic clinics across the U.S., announced its first Chicago clinic, projected to open Oct. 9 at 345 N Morgan St. With 13 locations predominantly based in southern states, Skin Pharm's 14th location marks its entry to the Midwest.
In the heart of the West Loop neighborhood, Skin Pharm will conduct skin care consultations and injectables, including the brand’s staple treatment, Gold Infusion, according to a Sept. 9 press release. Gold Infusion essentially starts by mixing vitamins and antioxidants, depending on skin concerns, and using a micro-infusion tool to stamp these ingredients under the skin.
Working alongside a team of nurse practitioners who perform these treatments is the founder, who is a nurse practitioner herself. Maegan Griffin opened the Skin Pharm chain in 2017 to provide personalized treatment plans, skincare products and facial rejuvenation techniques—specifically ones that she sought as a patient in the chair.
Though this is the first Skin Pharm location in the Midwest, patients will still get a feel of the brand’s native southern charm, with the interior designed by Mrs. Paranjape, a Nashville-based stylist. Appointment bookings are now open for the new location as well.
"Chicago is our first Midwest clinic, but the city's warmth, energy and commitment to wellness make it such a natural fit for us," says Griffin, CEO of Skin Pharm.
