New transaction data from Guidepoint Qsight released on May 13, 2026, shows that professional-grade skincare has become a significant revenue driver within medical aesthetics practices.

In 2025, 25% of all non-energy-based device skin rejuvenation visits, spanning chemical peels, mechanical microneedling, and hydradermabrasion, included a professional-grade skincare purchase at the same visit. That purchase added an average of $174 per appointment, frequently lifting total per-visit patient spend by 50% or more relative to the procedure alone.
