The Robertet Group has selected GTT Communications to provide a global networking and security infrastructure spanning 50 sites across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, China and the Americas. The deployment includes managed SD-WAN, Secure Service Edge (SSE), cloud connectivity, and 24/7 support designed to strengthen operational resilience, improve cybersecurity and support the company's growing cloud and AI ambitions.

The investment underscores how leading fragrance and flavor manufacturers are increasingly viewing digital infrastructure as a competitive advantage. Robertet plans to leverage the upgraded network to advance Industry 4.0 initiatives, including real-time data integration across manufacturing, logistics, ERP and business intelligence systems, while ensuring the quality and traceability standards required in global ingredient production.

The enhanced connectivity will also support Robertet's AI-driven innovation efforts, including NaturIA, a platform designed to help perfumers and flavorists access compositional and sensory data to accelerate formulation development and creativity.

Announced in 2024, the NaturIA project is a collaboration between that applies generative AI to fragrance and flavor creation. The platform combines the expertise of perfumers and flavorists with AI-powered search and ideation tools that can translate image-based briefs into detailed sensory descriptions, identify relevant existing formulas, and suggest new fragrance or flavor combinations.

Its first commercial application was the development of a new yogurt flavor for a major food company. Rather than replacing creators, NaturIA is designed to accelerate formulation development, enhance creativity, and help Robertet deliver more tailored, innovative products to customers faster.
