A creator of nutraceuticals for acne, hair growth and other conditions is partnering with the major leagues. Nutrafol named Major League Baseball as its “Official Hair Growth Partner” on Sept. 24, entailing a multi-year partnership that campaigns hair growth empowerment through the stories of baseball personnel.
The strategic partnership will commence postseason in 2025 and extend into the 2026 regular season. By partnering, the brands intend to combine their shared values: celebrating the game of baseball and hair health on and off the field.
This paves the way for Nutrafol to earn NSF Certified for Sport, a certification indicating that Nutrafol products for hair growth helps athletes, dietitians, coaches and consumers make safer decisions when choosing sport supplements and personal care products.
As this multi-year continues beyond 2025, the “Hats Off” campaign will signify the beginning—a long-held tradition that will celebrate hair health marked by baseball players taking a hat off during exciting moments during games. The campaign will run across Nutrafol’s and MLB’s channels, including social, digital and MLB Network, per a Sept. 24 press release.
Gearing up for 2026 season with postseason testimonials, the campaign also entails Nutrafol enlisting recognized baseball personalities,“Hair Captains,” to tell their hair journeys and experiences using Nutrafol’s hair growth supplements. “The Long Game” initiative starts in Spring Training through February. This would allow the two entities to use their platforms to educate around long-term hair health maintenance and holistic wellbeing.
Branching off the “Hats Off” tradition throughout the season, a Hats Off to the World Series Sweepstakes will launch on September 29, lasting until 11:59 pm ET on Oct. 15, allowing baseball fans to enter for the chance to win a grand prize package that includes World Series tickets and a year’s supply of Nutrafol.
“In recent years the MLB health and safety team has reported that many players have sought out certified hair growth supplements, and now they finally have a trusted option,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB chief marketing officer and senior vice president, global corporate partnerships. “We’re looking forward to encouraging everyone at our games, from players to fans, to take their hats off and confidently celebrate with us as Nutrafol joins MLB as our Official Hair Growth Partner.”
