Each bottle is a “month supply” that combats hair loss due to hormone imbalances, androgenetic alopecia and stress or weight loss in men and women–common causes of hair thinning and loss–by targeting the anagen hair growth phase.
Colleen Camp, BosleyMD global education director and certified trichologist, explains the anagen phase as the active phase in which your hair grows continuously and can last anywhere from 2-6 years. The Revive + stimulates mitochondrial function of cells to produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP), an energy essential for cellular function within the anagen phase for hair growth.
A 2025 BMC study [1] found that mutations in mitochondrial DNA and the aging process can compromise cellular energy metabolism by disrupting mitochondrial function–in turn reducing ATP production.
“Common causes [of hair thinning and loss] are hereditary factors like androgenetic alopecia, hormonal imbalances and changes in hormonal levels, such as during pregnancy, menopause or thyroid disorders,” Camp says. “Nutritional deficiencies, essential nutrients like vitamins, especially D and B vitamins, minerals, like iron and zinc and proteins can impact hair health.”
Each hair follicle contains thousands of mitochondria that create energy in the hair follicle, powering hair growth, Camp says, and the Revive+ formulation contains a Y100 compounda to increase the number of healthy mitochondria creating more energy at the follicle site.
