Allergan Aesthetics announced an open casting call for women in the U.S. who’ve experienced breast reconstruction and/or augmentation to share their stories and be featured in the Faces of Natrelle campaign that encourages education on these procedures. The Faces of Natrelle campaign casting call is open at Faces.Natrelle.com through Feb. 28 for women 22 years of age or older who have recently scheduled or undergone a Natrelle breast augmentation or reconstruction.

The campaign initiative is an extension of the Natrelle For Every Body platform to foster an inclusive space for women. “The campaign highlights real patient stories, aiming to help demystify the procedures and empower women to make choices that align with their personal needs and goals,” says Glen Curran, U.S. senior vice president of Allergan Aesthetics.

Education is crucial as medicine becomes patient-centered to achieve desired goals according to patient history. A 2020 NLM [1] study stated that women welcome as much individualized information as can be gathered on medical topics, including breast reconstruction, and effective education on a subject leads to improved healthcare outcomes.

“The Faces of Natrelle campaign aspires to provide prospective patients with relatable and authentic narratives,” Curran says. “[It] empowers women who are considering breast surgery by leading with education, encouraging transparency and celebrating the diversity of every curve, every shape and every body.”

The campaign features real women to celebrate body representation and inclusivity, honoring the strength of the women who undergo breast augmentation or reconstruction, Curran adds. The campaign will champion real women with real stories, from mothers to young women “carving out their paths” and women on the other side of a breast cancer diagnosis.

“It is essential to understand each patient is unique and that breast reconstruction and augmentation are personal decisions, [and] there are a variety of options available to suit individual needs, wants, unique body structure and more,” Curran says. “It is essential that women have access to comprehensive information about the benefits and risks associated with these surgeries.”
