Providing practice support services like training, education, marketing and operational support for aesthetic clinics, Podium, the AI-powered customer communications, launched its AI Operating System (OS) for Aesthetics on Jan. 20. The system integrates EMR, patient communications, marketing automation and lead management—powered by Avery, Podium's AI Employee.
With the ability for medspa owners to customize and coach their AI Employee to match their clinic's playbooks and tone, Avery can respond to leads from web, texts, calls, social and more, as well as book appointments and manage the patient journey by sending appointment reminders and delivering post-care instructions.
Prior to this launch, a December 2025 OpenAI case study evaluating Podium’s AI Agent, Jerry, showed a 45% increase in lead conversion and 30% increase in annual revenue for owners [1]. Jerry launched in March 2024, and Jerry 2.0 launched December 2025. While Jerry also manages scheduling and service requests, Avery is designed specifically for medspas and integrated with practice workflows — including electronic medical records.
