On January 29, 2026, BIOCORNEUM announced the launch of SiliSilk, a non-SPF silicone gel designed to expand patient options for scar recovery.
According to the company’s press release, SiliSilk is designed for versatile use with professional-grade silicone in a non-greasy gel format. Further, SiliSilk creates an oxygen- and moisture-rich barrier that promotes natural skin repair, which helps to prevent and minimize formation of abnormal scars.
“Our focus is delivering silicone scar therapy clinicians can trust,” said Kristy Matus, vice president of product management. “BIOCORNEUM SiliSilk extends that trusted, clinically proven technology to a non-SPF format designed for everyday recovery, giving patients more choice while maintaining the same clinical rigor.”
BIOCORNEUM’s SiliSilk silicone gel will be offered through surgeons and dermatologists as well as direct-to-consumer on the brand’s website, Amazon and TikTok shop. The company plans to roll out its availability in Walmart later this year.
