Clothing 2.0, reportedly the first company to produce apparel with natural, pain-relieving properties, has partnered with the Marena Group, who provide medical-grade compression garments. According to a Nov. 20 press release, the partnership brings a new innovation to the recovery process: post-surgical garments infused with over-the-counter pain-reliever.
Jordan Schindler, CEO and founder of Clothing 2.0, said post-operative care is a routine that involves consistently applying topical creams and keeping compression on, which many patients find challenging. The new garment combines the two steps together to make recovery less arduous, according to the release.
“Adding pain-relieving natural ingredients directly into garments is a game changer for patients, care givers and, above all, recovery outcomes,” said Schindler.
The garments that the Marena Group manufactures are intended for invasive and non-invasive plastic surgery, body sculpting, mastectomy, pregnancy and maternity, lipedema, bariatric surgery, and weight loss treatment, while Clothing 2.0 provides pain-relieving solutions for a variety of conditions from eczema, maternity, and anti-fungal discomfort.
"It's time we all leave 1.0 post-surgical recovery behind,” Schindler says.
